Made at YRMOS Atelier, London.

Shell: 100% merino wool
Lining: 100% cupro
Buttons: horn

- Dry clean only, by a specialist tailoring cleaner and sparingly. Good tailoring is kept, not laundered.
- Brush down after wear and let the jacket rest a day between wearings; full canvas recovers its shape with a little time.
- Hang on a broad, shaped hanger to hold the shoulder line.
- Steam to refresh rather than press. Never iron the canvas directly.
- Horn is a natural material, slight variation in tone and grain is the mark of the real thing.

Inspiration behind

"The double-breasted cut is the oldest argument in tailoring for presence without effort: it closes, it holds, it asks nothing of the body underneath but that it stand still and let the cloth do the work. I pared it back to a double button at the waist because restraint says more than ornament ever could.

I chose full canvassing knowing almost no one would ever see it. That was the point. The integrity of a thing should not depend on being noticed. A canvassed jacket earns its shape slowly, learning the man who wears it, and that patience is the whole of what we believe at YRMOS."
– Founder and Creative Director Ulrich Boulon

What it means to wear it

You put it on and something settles. The weight sits right. The line is clean. You stop adjusting yourself to the room.

This is a jacket for the days that ask you to show up fully and say little; the meeting you've prepared for, the table you're asked to lead, the morning you simply decide to meet on your own terms. It rewards intention and worn with care it becomes less a garment than a habit of self-respect and the daily ritual of dressing like the day matters.

Made in London, England

Each YRMOS suit is made at our atelier in London, in small and considered runs. The suits are cut, constructed and hand-finished by makers who treat craft in its own right, where the value lives in the details you feel. Nothing rushed and nothing outsourced to chance. It is slower and deliberately so. What leaves the atelier is meant to be kept.
