Ulrich Boulon — Founder & Fashion Designer

Ulrich Boulon is a French fashion designer and the founder and creative director of YRMOS, an independent fashion house based in London.

Born and raised in Guadeloupe, Boulon was introduced to garment making through his mother and grandmother, who worked in dressmaking. He later moved to Paris, where he pursued postgraduate studies in sociology and further studies in innovation, design and digital business.

His career spans fashion, digital experience design in luxury, with creative and design roles at Givenchy Paris, Burberry, Mulberry, Montblanc and Soho House. In 2021, he founded YRMOS, developing the house as a practice centred on clothing, craftsmanship and virtues.

Boulon’s approach brings together fashion and design with an emphasis on proportion, material, simplicity and longevity. His work considers clothing not only as an object of dress, but as a means of expressing how we live and relate to one another.

YRMOS – You remind me of Someone

Founded by Ulrich Boulon in London in 2021, YRMOS is an independent fashion house exploring clothing through craftsmanship, proportion, material and presence.

Located in Islington, London – a neighbourhood where life moves quietly – our showroom atelier is open by appointment, offering a calm space to spend time with the collection and explore at your own pace.

The house develops ready-to-wear, tailoring, bespoke garments and objects alongside its ongoing exploration of the relationship between clothing and virtue.

Boulon’s practice is guided by a set of virtues that inform the work of YRMOS: silence, mercy, responsibility, discipline, patience and fortitude.

For him, clothing is an opportunity to practise these virtues, through the way a garment is made, worn, cared for and experienced.
